As an accredited RYA SRC Accessor, I am available to support RYA Recognised Training Centres (RTCs) as an external examiner for the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC) VHF course.

The RYA SRC course teaches not only the use of VHF marine radios but also safe and legally compliant communication at sea. The examination is conducted “on the authority of the MCA” (Maritime and Coastguard Agency), setting it apart from many other offerings: This official basis ensures that the certificate is internationally recognised and practically aligned with the requirements of maritime operations.
